Start of 1-Bit Jam!
Ellis: The Anxious Lion » Devlog
Hiya!
Today marks the day the jam has started! I'm so excited to start working on it!
I'm trying out a different way of writing devlogs for this game. I'm writing the devlog in the itch.io community, and linking it here with some extra info.
There's no rule against it, so I want to see if it will work well for me and you.
If you have any strong feelings or if there's any issues, let me know! This is very strange for me to be doing, but I'm trying new things!
Here's the link to the devlog!
I suppose there's not much else to say here... I'm excited to finally start working on this!
Thanks for reading!
Bye-Bye~! <3

I've been on this site for over 4 years and just recently discovered the community section. Their rules seems to be on the strict side compared to gamejolt.
If you're devlogging on the community section remember that you would need to keep updating that page by posting replies instead of creating a new topic.
Also, devlogs in the game page are indexed, they appear in search results of search engines (Google, DuckDuckGo etc). I am not sure if the community stuff also appear in search results.
My opinion, It would be better to have devlogs both in your game page and the community page.
I wish you and your team all the best!
I'm a little intimidated by the strictness, but I'm doing my best to follow the rules! But I didn't know that about the indexing, I'll keep that in mind!
I'll see if I can make the next devlog a little differently. Thanks for your help!
